A woman was murdered in the rural St Ann community of Free Hill near Bamboo on Monday.
Investigators say the body of 24-year-old cashier Alesha Rose was found at about 1:30 pm.
Her throat was reportedly slashed, and her hands and feet bound in bushes at her home.
Rose was an employee of a gas station in St Ann’s Bay at the time of her death.
Residents said she was last heard being engaged in an argument with an unknown person on Sunday afternoon.
She was not seen or heard from since that time.
