A 16-year-old girl was charged with the murder of her brother, 23-year-old Lenardo Cole, at their home on Hazard Drive, May Pen in Clarendon on Friday, August 5.
The identity of accused is being withheld due to her age.
Reports from the police are that about 9:30 am, the accused and her sister had a dispute when Cole intervened.
The dispute escalated and the accused teen girl used a knife to stab Cole in his upper body. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The accused was interviewed in the presence of her attorney on Monday, August 8, after which she was charged.
Her court date is being finalised, the police said.
