A 16-year-old boy is among two people killed and four others injured at a shop in Hayes, Clarendon on Tuesday night.
Dead are 40-year-old Christopher Romany, a labourer, and teenager Demaro Gibson, otherwise called ‘Mario’, a student, both of Hayles in the parish.
Preliminary reports are that persons were at a shop playing a game of dominoes when a motor car drove up and gunmen alighted from a vehicle. They sprayed bullets on the patrons, before fleeing the scene.
Six persons were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were assisted to the hospital, where Gibson and Romany were pronounced dead.
The conditions of those admitted has not been ascertained.
